Charles Hamilton is the longest-standing member of the MIABC’s Board, having joined as the Group A Representative in 1994. At that time he was employed as the City Manager of Quesnel. Since then, Charles has joined the Columbia Shuswap Regional District, where he holds the position of Chief Administrative Officer. Now Board Chair for the MIABC, last year marked Hamilton’s 25th year serving on the Board. Charles is a graduate of the University of British Columbia, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts. He also has a Masters of Public Administration from Queen’s University. He has two children who are both now in university. In his spare time he is an avid traveller and chef.
