In this workshop, Susan and David will explore the essential elements of a robust risk management program and share how local government staff should develop and follow a clear risk management decision making process. Delegates will learn to identify common risks that local governments face in providing services to their communities and how to prioritize those risks. David and Susan will also share some practical strategies local governments can implement to reduce or transfer their risks.
