Marina Sen was appointed to the position of Insurance Services Coordinator when the MIABC’s insurance department was created in April 2014. Marina has played a key role in the development and implementation of the MIABC Property Insurance Program. In addition, Marina provides broker services to the MIABC property insurance members, ensuring that all their insurance needs are met.

A ten year employee of the MIABC, Marina started her career in the Legal Department as a legal assistant. In this role, she became familiar with MIABC members by assisting with their legal claims.   Marina’s background also includes nine years of customer service experience, which is where her “members first” work ethic stems from.
Marina holds a General Insurance Agent Level 2 License, the Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation and is currently pursuing her Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) and Chartered Insurance Professional designations. Before moving into the role of Insurance Services Coordinator, Marina graduated from the Capilano University Legal Administrative Assistant Program where she also obtained paralegal education.
