María Creighton is the Chief Financial Officer of the Municipal Insurance Association of BC. Maria joined the MIABC in 2015 with over 17 years of progressive post-qualification experience in financial and operational management for the technology and professional services industries. Maria’s core qualifications include accounting and financial management, corporate reporting, controllership and decision support. Maria is also experienced in taxation matters within multi-national jurisdictions and international expansion initiatives. Maria is a CPA, CGA and has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia.
