Annie Olson practices in the area of general insurance defence, with an emphasis on personal injury claims, property claims and municipal liability. Her background in debt collection has allowed her to implement strong investigative and interpersonal skills into her practice. She has cultivated a conflict-resilient mindset and takes a seasoned, practical approach to dispute resolution.
With the exception of brief sojourns in Montreal and Kamloops, Annie is a lifelong resident of Victoria. She was born and raised on the Saanich Peninsula and comes from a large family with roots along the west coast. She completed her undergraduate degree at Royal Roads University and her law degree at Thompson Rivers University, where she was the recipient of awards in criminal law, privacy law, and for her performance in the 2017 BC Court of Appeals moot. Annie completed her articles with Carfra Lawton and was called to the bar in May of 2019.
