The City of Kelowna’s awarding winning risk management (RM) Building Services Accreditation Program was put to the test when it was drawn into a complex construction deficiency claim with millions of dollars at issue. The MIABC stipulates that a principled approach (PA) must be taken in response to every claim made against its members - the validity of the claim is to be determined on its legal merits.
