Stewart McDannold Stuart, otherwise known as “SMS”, is a firm devoted to providing legal services to local governments in British Columbia. They have deep experience and expertise as solicitors and litigators, providing proactive advice and risk management alongside strategic advocacy and liability defence to forward and protect the interests of local governments across the province. They established the firm in 1988 with the primary goal of providing a full range of legal services at a reasonable cost to local governments, the MIABC, Regional Health Authorities, Provincial Ministries, and other public bodies and government organizations.
