Andrew Pape-Salmon is a part-time adjunct professor with the University of Victoria Department of Civil Engineering focused on research regarding resilient, ultra-low energy buildings, along with being a provincial civil servant. Over the past twenty years Andrew has worked with the provincial government, as an engineering consultant, with the non-profit sector and Indigenous communities. He specializes in building and safety codes and standards, public policy and economics, energy conservation and efficiency, zero-carbon energy systems and most recently resilient communities with an interest in seismic risk mitigation.
