Trevor is a graduate of the British Columbia Institute of Technology. He began his career working for the District of North Vancouver in the role of Plans Reviewer. Following this, he moved to the City of Port Moody as a Building Official, conducting plan reviews and building inspections on a variety of building types. With his role in Port Moody he also conducted plumbing inspections and plan reviews. Trevor is currently the Manager of Building and Bylaw Enforcement with the City of White Rock. Trevor obtained his Registered Building Official designation as well his Level 2 plumbing official certification in 2017.

In addition to his position with the City of White Rock, Trevor is also a Part-Time Instructor at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, where he delivers the BC Building Code, Part 9 Single Family Dwelling Course. In a volunteer capacity, Trevor currently serves on the Building Officials’ Association of BC Executive Committee as the Association’s Secretary and Treasurer.
