Darlene McBride is Manager, Vancouver Regional Office of HSB Canada, a specialty insurance market for Equipment Breakdown responsible for managing underwriting, sales and service for the province of BC
Darlene brings with her over 25 years’ experience, working with Brokers, General Lines Insurers, Managing General Agents, and Risk Inspection Companies. She has held positions in Business Development, Operations, HR, and Management.
She is a much sought after instructor with the Insurance Institute, BC Chapter and has been instructing since 2006.
She has been co-facilitator at several Insurance Institute of Canada education events and is a speaker on behalf of the Insurance Institute for their Pro-Edge Technical training Seminars. Darlene is also a faculty member of BCIT and SFU teaching Risk Management and Insurance courses
Darlene holds a Canadian Insurance Professional (CIP) Designation, a Canadian Risk Management (CRM) and Fellowship in Risk Management (RF) diplomas from Simon Fraser University in two separate majors: General Management and Risk Management.
